James piazza is a child of the southwest born in Albuquerque New Mexico and raised in where he calls home Phoenix, Arizona.
At the age of 27 James has found happiness and fulfillment in creating. Music and food are what he considers his passions. His inspiration began from embarking on world tours playing guitar (James has toured with Chef Riley and they have played multiple shows together around the country). Traveling allowed James to experience other cultures and cuisine in cities worldwide such as Tokyo, London, Paris, New York, and Toronto. These visits have helped mold his pallet and perceptions of global culinary traditions.
In March of 2013 James was presented with the opportunity to create, however now in a kitchen as opposed to on a stage. Taken under the wings by J. Beard award winning Chef Chris Bianco and his team, Anthony Andiario & Robbie Tutlewski. James has worked his way up from prep cook to lead line cook and Pizziaolo At Pane Bianco and Pizzeria Bianco respectively. As a detail focused individual, James has channeled the same creativity he used when writing music into executing his visions in the kitchen. This entails cooking from-scratch market dishes, wood fired pizzas and home made pastas. Any plate you receive from James is inspired by his love for making everyone around him feel nourished and unique.
